JUST IN: APC NEC dissolves National Working Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.

These were part of decisions adopted on Thursday at the ongoing meeting of the APC National Executive Council at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

President Muhammadu Buhari called for the immediate suspension of all pending litigations involving the party and its members, as well as the ratification of the party’s governorship primary election recently conducted in Edo State.

Buhari condemned the recent crisis within the party, stressing the need for members to enforce party discipline.

The President, therefore, appointed Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, to head the new Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee for the party.

He was immediately sworn in at the meeting by the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami (SAN).
