JUST IN : Bandits abduct hundreds of school girls in Zamfara
Bandits have attacked Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State, kidnapping hundreds of schoolgirls in the early hours of Friday.
A resident, Abubakar Sheu, from Tungar Kasara, confirmed the development to Solacebase on Friday morning, noting that the abducted schoolgirls were about 300 in number.
Zamfara State Commissioner for Information, Suleiman Tunau confirmed to newsmen that the students were abducted at about 1.00 am.
This is coming about two weeks that some students and staff of Government Science College Kagara were abducted and the government is trying to secure their release.
