JUST IN : {COVID-19} FG places travel restrictions on 100 Nigerians

The Federal Government on Tuesday placed a travel restriction on 100 Nigerians from international trips for flouting COVID-19 guidelines.

The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 announced this via its Twitter handle on Tuesday.

It also released the passport details of the defaulters, stating that they have been restricted from travelling for six months.

Solacebase reports that the federal government first placed 100 Nigerians on travel restriction over flouting of COVID-19 guidelines, on January 3 2021.

The travel ban was from January 1st to June 30th, 2021.

“Presidential Task Force sanctions 100 Passports in Second Batch of those who failed to comply with the mandatory Day 7 post-arrival COVID-19 Test.

“They have been placed on a six-month travel restriction from February 5 to July 30, 2021,” the tweet said.
