JUST IN: NBC sanctions Channels TV, Arise, AIT, over #EndSARS protest coverage
The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) on Monday sanctioned three major broadcast stations over their alleged roles in an escalation of violence across the nation.
The Commission fined African Independent Television (AIT), Arise TV and Channels Television between N2million and N3million.
The acting Director-General of the NBC, Prof. Armstrong Idachaba, announced this at a news conference in Abuja on Monday.

The regulator accused the stations of airing unverified images of alleged shooting at Lekki toll gates.
Recalls the protest, began on a peaceful note but later went violent, with many states experiencing wanton destructions and looting of public and private properties.
