Kauran Namoda Local Government Chairman in Zamfara state, Abdullahi Isah, has confirmed the death of one person and eight others missing after gunmen attacked Yan’Kaba village in the local government area.
He said those missing are suspected to have been abducted by the gunmen.
While speaking with Journalists, the council Chairman said the village head, Alhaji Buhari Ammani, is among those who have gone missing since the attack.
He said the gunmen stormed the village early Friday morning, killing one person and abducted eight others.
He added that a team of search and rescue team has since cordoned the village.
