JUST IN: Police arrest suspected kidnappers in Kano

Police have arrested five suspected kidnappers in Ungoggo Local Government of Kano state.

A police source told Solacebase on Friday that the ongoing operations at Jaba area of the local government has led to the recovery of AK-47 gun and some firearms.

Also a source said the kidnappers were successfully traced by the police after they had abducted two persons from Zamfara state and kept them at a rented apartment in the area.

According to the source, the two kidnapped people have been freed during the operation.

Kano police spokesperson told Solacebase that the media would be addressed in due course on the development.
