JUST IN: Supreme Court Adjourns Kano, Sokoto , 5 Other Appeals Till Tuesday

The Supreme Court has adjourned all appeals till Tuesday.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, had earlier suspended the sitting twice, following some commotion at the entrance of the court and later due to the illness of one of the seven justices.

Justice Tanko Muhammad said the Kano matter alongside the six other governorship appeals would be stood down for medical attention to the affected justice, who he did give the name.

Also, those affected are appeals against the election of Governors Emeka Ihedioha of Imo, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Simon Lalong of Plateau, and Samuel Ortom of Benue.
