2023: Kano-ACReSAL trains personnel on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles operations, analysis

Kano-ACReSAL personnel have been charged to judiciously utilize knowledge acquired at a week capacity building on the operation of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), commonly referred to as drones.

The State Project Coordinator, Dr. Dahir M. Hashim, made the call at the training session holding at the organization premises.

SOLACEBASE reports that Dr. Hashim who was represented by Malam Ahmad Muhammad Karaye, the Chairman of the committee responsible for procuring the drone, appealed to them to ask questions from the resource person so as to better equip them with the operational knowledge of the drone.

‘’The training is an initiative that focuses on equipping selected Kano-ACReSAL staff with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in operating and analyzing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), ‘’Hashim said.

A statement issued by the Kano-ACReSAL communications officer, Maryam Abdulqadir, over the weekend, said the specialized training program draws its participants primarily from the ranks of the State Project Management Unit (SPMU) with the primary objective of enhancing the proficiency of staff members in navigating and managing the drone effectively.

According to the statement, the training program’s key emphasis revolves around practical application, fieldwork, and the critical skill of image analysis.

‘’This initiative underscores Kano-ACReSAL’s commitment to harnessing modern technology for the benefit of its projects and operations, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization, ‘’the statement read.

It added that the training facilitator includes Engr. Abubakar Abdullahi, Engr. Muhammad Rabiu, and Engr. Nasir Nalado.
