Kano State Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman, Muhuyi Magaji Rimigado on Wednesday apologized to the judiciary as an institution and other personnel that may have been offended over his utterances in the cause of carrying out his duty as the head of the commission.
The Commission Chairman stated this in a release personally signed by him noting that all his action was not to bring the judiciary into disrepute but honest act to achieve the anti graft objectives of the agency.
He said fighting corruption is not an individual business , therefore calls for support from all and sundry to carry out the act.
He commended the legislature for enacting the law to fight corruption and the executive for creating enabling environment for the commission to operate while calling on the the judicial arm of government to support the commission to serve the purpose ot its mandate.
The anti graft Czar expressed determination to fight corruption in the state , remain resolute and undaunted.
He appreciated the the support of the public towards achieving the mandate of the commission and promised to work within the confines of the law.
Solacebase recalled that a Kano High Court Judge sitting in Gezawa, Justice Muhammad Yahaya had issued an order directing the AIG Zone 1 to arrest and produce the state anti graft Chairman on 18th July 2018.
