Kano House of Assembly has affirmed its solidarity to new the Emir of Bichi, Alh Aminu Ado Bayero.
The Asembly Speaker, Abdulazeez Garba Gafasa expressed the support on Thursday, during a visit to the emir’s palace.
He said they were in Bichi to seek royal blessing as well as formal introduction of the 9th assembly members represented by the House principal officers, who were physically present.
” Your Highness, I wish to categorically state and affirm that Kano lawmakers are solidly in supports of your God-given responsibility as Emir of Bichi,” Gafasa said.
‘’ we hope and pray God Almighty will grant you wisdom and wealth of experience to rule the emirate successfully.
In his response, Emir of Bichi Alh Aminu Bayero expressed gratitude to the Kano lawmakers for the visit, and congratulated them for been elected into the 9th assembly to serve their constituencies with strength and faith.
“I am delighted you find Gafasa worthy and capable to lead you for the second time and i urged you to give him needed co-operation in order to have positive effects towards making viable laws for the betterment of Kano people” the Emir admonished.

Emir of Bichi further urged the State legislatures to purify their minds and be God fearing in all their undertakings.
“Surely God will partake in all your endeavours” He added.
During the week, the Speaker and principal officers embarked on visit, starting with Kano emirate and other newly-established emirates of Bichi, Rano, Karaye and Rano respectively.
