Kano Emirate Secretary, Alhaji Mahmud Aminu Bayero, is dead.
Alhaji Mahmud Aminu Bayero died on Wednesday at the age of 82 after a protracted illness at the National Orthopedic Hospital, Dala in Kano.
Solacebase reports that the late octogenarian served in Kano emirate for over 50 years and held different positions ranging from Private Secretary to the secretary of the emirate.
Also, he was initially the Principal Private Secretary of the late emir Ado Bayero before he later got elevated to the position of the secretary of the entire emirate.

The funeral prayer of Alhaji Mahmud Bayero held at Kofar Kudu was led by Kano Chief Imam, Prof. Sani Zahradeen and has since been buried in Kano.
