Kano State Polytechnic says it will soon start online programs, so that it will compete with its counterparts across the world.
The Polytechnic Rector, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk, disclosed this while receiving ICAN Kano district society members last week in his office.
“We will soon start online programs in Kano State Polytechnic so that our lecturers will start delivering their lectures and supervision online”.

Farouk noted that the institution is already restructuring some of its programs to enhance the employability of its graduates.
Earlier speaking the chairman ICAN Kano district society Mal. Habibu Ayuba, said that no society grows to an enviable height without the contributions of its citizens.
Ayuba congratulated the new rector who was a former chairman of ICAN Kano district society.

“We are happy for the choice of Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk as the Rector of the Polytechnic, knowing his antecedent, he would take the institution to a greater height.’’
SOLACEBASE had reported that Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk was appointed as Rector by the state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf on 4th December 2023.
