Kano to sign MoU with PCN to sanitize pharmaceutical business
Kano State Government has concluded arrangement to sign Memorandum of Understanding with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) so as to sanitize Pharmaceutical business in the state.
The State Commissioner for Health Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa announced this on Tuesday when he led Private Health Institutions Management Agency Executive Secretary Dr Usman Tijjani Aliyu on an advocacy visit to the Registrar, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) at the Council’s office in Abuja.
Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa said the MoU when completed would assist the two bodies for effective and efficient collaboration in the regulation of pharmaceutical business in the State.
On his part, the Registrar, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) Pharm. Elijah N. Mohammed said the collaboration is timely as it will help in addressing the issue of increasing drug abuse in the country.

Director Pharmaceuticals Services (DPS) MoH, Aminu Bashiru, DPS PHIMA, Abdulkadir Danzabuwa PCN officer Kano, Suleiman Chiroma and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, FCDO-Lafiya Program, Kano led by Dr Dayyabu Muhammad Yusuf.
