Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) says it will do more in collaboration with Media organisations after the completion of sensitization to five emirates as part of preparations towards a successful 2021 local governments elections.
The Commission Chairman, Professor Garba Ibrahim Sheka made this known while addressing stakeholders at a one-day sensitization for local governments in Rano emirate held at the council Secretariat.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Commission Public Relations Officer on Friday.

The statement said,” After going around the five emirates, we will shift our attention to Media especially radio & television for continuous mobilization to the public on the entire election process.’’
In the statement, the chairman added that right now nomination forms are ready for potential contestants after submission of their names by their respective parties.
It added that, on behalf of Chairmen often local governments in the emirate, the chairman of Rano local government, Alh Yau Abdullahi Gidan gave assurance of a hitch-free forthcoming local governments council elections.
