Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has lost two staff to a ghastly motor accident in Katsina.
In an internal memo signed by Head, Corporate Communications Ibrahim Sani Shawai on Monada said Malam Nazir Ahmad and Malam Abdulra’uf Ahmad died on their way back from Katsina to Kano from an official assignment.
It said the accident occurred around Kankia LGA of Katsina State when their bus (with plate number KMC366AA) had a tyre burst and then collided with another and somersaulted.
‘’Six members of the team sustained various degrees of injury, while the driver and Mr Johnson are without any injuries,’’ said the memo.

It noted that a response team from KEDCO headquarters has evacuated all other members of the team who are injured and the two corpses back to Kano State.
Meanwhile, the family of late Abdulra’uf Ahmad said the burial of their brother will come up on Tuesday, July 14, by 8 am, at Dandalin- Fagge Maikwaru Avenue, Fagge LGA of Kano State.
