Lagos Confirms Three COVID-19 Deaths
The Lagos state government has announced that three patients have died due (COVID-19).
The state commissioner for health, Professor Akin Abayomi stated this in a post on his Twitter handle on Saturday.
The commissioner in the tweet said that the deceased are two males and a female aged 52, 63 and 67 respectively.
Professor Akin Abayomi noted that two of the victims had underlying health challenges.

According to the tweet, “32 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 17, 2020. A total number of confirmed cases in Lagos now stands at 286.’’

Presently, Lagos state has recorded 13 deaths from the disease.
