Meet The Legal Practitioner Who Sponsored 50 Young Lawyers To Learn CyberSecurity

He sponsored 50 young lawyers from Kano Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association branch to learn cybersecurity and be certified by Cisco Networking Academy for them to keep up with 21st century best practices for the legal profession.

He did that alone and paid it all from his pocket. This is why I deem it fit to appreciate him and encourage others like him to step up and pay their dues to the legal profession.

‘Who’s this man?’ You may ask. His name is Said Danladi Muhammad, LLB, BL, and LLM, Ph.D. (in view). He is the managing partner of SD Muhd & Co., a firm of legal practitioners that is deeply rooted in litigation and dispute resolution of complex civil transactions.

He was born Kano in 1969. He studied law and graduated from Bayero University, Kano in 1994. He holds a Master of Laws Degree with a specialization in Company and Labour Relations from the same university. He is currently undergoing his Doctorate Degree in Law at the University of Jos.

He is a Notary Public and a member of the International Bar Association, African Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association and Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria where he currently serves as Vice Chairman.

Said Danladi Muhammad has, for over two decades, maintained an active engagement with civil society organizations, public interest societies, and academia.

He believes every profession should focus more on its younger ones, as they are the ones who one day will be its leaders. He encourages senior members of the Bar to look after the younger ones.
