A Federal High Court sitting in Kano has granted bail to the former Kano State Governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, Ambassador Aminu Wali and Engineer Mansur Ahmed in the sum of N100million each.
The trio were arraigned before Justice Zainab Baji Abubakar by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on six-count charge bordering on money laundering to the tune of N950million.
Also the bail condition include two sureties that must include a director in the Federal or state civil service with landed property in the jurisdiction of the court.
Solacebase learnt that they will remain in EFCC custody till they meet the bail application
Justice Zainab also adjourned the case till June 26, 2018 for continuation.
