National Assembly Juma’at Mosque for commissioning in June
A befitting and permanent mosque for daily and Juma ’at prayers is to be commissioned at the National Assembly on Friday, June 2, 2023.
Inaugurating a 7-man commissioning and planning committee in his office on Thursday, the Chairman, Mosque Construction Committee and Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau charged the members to work towards a successful and hitch-free commissioning.
Responding on behalf of the committee members, the committee chairman and Honorable member representing Yamaltu-Deba Constituency in Gombe state, Hon Engr Yunusa Abubakar assured on the commitment of members and thank the Almighty Allah for bestowing this Godly assignment on the members.

Abubakar further appealed to members to make necessary sacrifice due to short period of the assignment.
SOLACEBASE reports that other members of the committee include Senator-Elect Nasiru Sani Zagon Daura, Hon Isiyaka Ibrahim, Ustaz Sadiq Bala Illelah, Pharm Mustafa Muhammad, Dr Sule Ya’u Sule while Haruna Ibrahim Shekarau is to serve as Secretary of the committee.
