Nigeria records 296 fresh cases of COVID-19, with 6 deaths

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has confirmed 296 new cases of COVID-19 and 6 deaths recorded in the country.

The health centre announced this in a tweet on Tuesday.

It said so far, 55456 cases have been confirmed, out of the 426, 803 sample tests conducted.

The tweet said the 296 new cases reported from 15 states including the FCT are- Plateau (183), Lagos (33), FCT (25), Ogun (16), Oyo (7), Ekiti (6), Kwara (5), Ondo (5), Imo (3), Anambra (3), Nasarawa (3), Rivers (2), Gombe (2), Edo (2), Akwa Ibom (1).
