Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has congratulated Prof. Umaru Pate (Kaigama Adamawa) on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State.
Solacebase reports that Prof. Umaru Pate was on Thursday issued letter of appointment by the University Council of a single 5-year term.
The North East NUJ Vice President Comrade Alhassan Yahya made the commendation in a statement released on Friday.
The statement said Prof. Pate as an accomplished scholar of international repute is expected to bring to bear his administrative and academic knowledge.
