Olubadan to confer traditional title on Barr. Nureini Jimoh

All arrangements have been concluded by the Olubadan Advisory Council to confer an honorary title of Aare Baamofin of Ibadan land on the illustrious son of Ibadan, Barrister Nureini Soladoye Jimoh (SAN).

The conferment ceremony which will be performed by the Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Mashood Lekan Balogun as part of activities to commemorate his first anniversary on the throne of Olubadan stool, will come up on Sunday 23rd July, 2023 at Olubadan palace, Alarere, Iwo road, Ibadan by 10a.m.

Thereafter, reception of guests will follow at the prestigious Civic centre,  Idi-Ape, Ibadan.

Barrister Nureini Soladoye who hails from Odinjo Ibadan in Ibadan South East Local Government area joined the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria in the year 2020.

He attended Christ Apostolic Grammar School, Orita-Aperin for his secondary school education, after which he went for his A-level for two years before proceeding to the Federal College of Education, Okenne Kogi state for three years.

He taught for three years at a Teachers’ Training College, Kogi state, taught at various secondary schools in Ogorimogogo and Sango High School, Ibadan.

He thereafter went to University of Benin to study Law and equally underwent a Master’s Degree in Law at Bayero University, Kano.

Nureini Soladoye Jimoh whose law chamber is based in Kano has over the years involved in contentious litigation for the governors of Yobe, Jigawa, Kano and Oyo States.

He is still involved in litigation defending notable Nigerians and even judges both at the High Courts, Sharia Courts of Appeal, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

His chamber is one that has conducted more than 30 pro bono cases for indigents and the needy.

Barrister Nureini is happily married to Maryam Asmau with children.
