Osinbajo Presides Over National Economic Council Meeting

An extended meeting the National Economic Council has just started at the Presidential Villa presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

Those in attendance include the Chairman, Governors’ Forum and Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari; Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi); Simon Lalong (Plateau); Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano); Godwin Obaseki (Edo); Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara); Yahaya Bello (Kogi); Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo); Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun); and Kashim Shettima (Borno).

Other are Mohammed Abubakar (Bauchi); Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom); Dave Umahi (Ebonyi); Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu); and Nasir el-Rufai (Kaduna).

The Central Bank Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, is also present in the meeting focusing on the Federal Government’s Economic Recovery and Growth Plan.
