Osolo congratulates Christians at Christmas, says Nigeria will be great
His Royal Highness Oba Edward Kolawole Adejoyegbe Adewole, Osalade II, the Osolo of Isolo, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, joins Christians across Nigeria and around the world as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, on Sunday 25th December 2022.
A statement issued by Comrade Ayomide Micheal, SA to Osolo of Isolo (Media & Administration) said Christmas celebration is an annual event observed by Christians to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ- the reason for their belief.
‘’To this end, the Osolo of Isolo congratulates and celebrates with all the celebrating Christians in Isolo Kingdom, Ondo State, Nigeria and across the world for the celebration of year 2022 Christmas festival,’’ the statement said.
According to the statement, the monarch appreciates God for sparing the faithful to witness this year’s celebration, while admonishing all Christian faithful to imbibe and exhibit the qualities of Jesus Christ, whose birthday they celebrate. Oba Adejoyegbe Adewole advises the faithful to show love, kindness and ensure moderacy as they celebrate.
It urged the celebrating Christians to shun every act of lawlessness and unlawful activities that can cause disorder or provoke social unrest.
‘’Osolo releases his royal blessings on all Christians across the universe that Almighty God through Jesus Christ whose birth is celebrated every December 25th shall bless, protect and preserve them to celebrate many Christmas on Earth in sound health and riches.’’
