Palliative Abuse: Kano Anti-Corruption Agency arrests LG Councillor
Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption has arrested the Kabuga Ward Councillor, Gwale Local Government Council Shehu Aminu Kabuga, over an alleged diversion of 116 COVID-19 palliative forms meant for the vulnerable in the area.
The Commission Director Special Duties, Malam Usman Bello confirmed the arrest of the Councillor to Solacebase on Sunday.
According to him, the Councillor, Shehu Aminu Kabuga was subsequently released on administrative bail and would be arraigned in Court on Monday.
