PDP Northwest Crisis: Kwankwasiyya candidate reacts to Kaduna violence
Hon. Muhammad Jamo Yusuf, the preferred candidate of former Kano state Governor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya movement for the position of Northwest zonal vice-Chairman in the People’s Democratic Party has urged the party faithful in the zone to remain calm and peaceful.
Yusuf Jamo said this while reacting to the aftermath of the zonal congress in Kaduna that was disputed by some unknown people on Saturday.
Solacebase reports that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) North-West zonal congress held in Kaduna on Saturday, ended in crisis and has been postponed.
Chairman of the publicity sub-committee, LOC of the Congress, Dr Abdulrahman Usman told Solacebase in an interview that out of the seven states in the zone, there was a crisis with Kano delegates that snowball into disorganising the venue.
Muhammad Jamo Yusuf, on Sunday, expressed readiness to participate in the congress anytime the national leadership of the party decided to reschedule the exercise.

He appreciated the efforts of party leaders and supporters who were in Kaduna to ensure the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
