PDP presents flags to contestants in Kano

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has inaugurated campaigns and presented flags to contestants vying for various positions under the party in Kano State.

SOLACEBASE reports that at a well-attended ceremony on Saturday, the Party’s governorship Kano candidate, Sadik  Aminu Wali and his deputy, Yusuf Bello Danbatta, were presented the party flags.

Similarly the three Senatorial Candidates and  24 House of Representatives with the 40 State Assembly candidates were all shown and their hands raised for recognitions.

Speaking at the occasion, Senator representing Kano Central at the National Assembly, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau urged members of the party to stand tall and work hard for the success of the PDP in Kano State.

Shekarau while emphasizing that politics is not a do or die affairs, he was much confident that Kano people are in support of the PDP as the hope of the common citizen.

The occasion was attended by the leaders of the party that include, Senator Bello Hayatu Gwarzo, Deputy Chairman of the PDP North West Zone and the former Kano State, Commissioners of  water resources and Information Dr. Yunusa Adamu Dangwani and Prof. Umar Faruq, among other leaders of the party in Kano.
