The investiture of the 39th Chairman of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Kano/Jigawa and District Society, Dr. Abubakar Umar Farouk took place on Saturday.
The event held in Kano had dignitaries from different sectors of the economy , the academia, top government functionaries , traditional leaders, the media and others in attendance.
Among those in attendance were the Jigawa state deputy governor who is also a Chartered Accountant, Alhaji Umar Namadi , FCA, Branch Controller, Central Bank of Nigeria, Jigawa Branch, Hajia Sa’adatu Aminu Ibrahim FCA, former Kano State Commissioner for Finance and lecturer with Bayero University Kano, Prof. Kabiru Isa Dandago FCA , Kano State Auditor General ,Hajiya Amina Sa’id , FCNA and Hajia Zulihat Aminu Bello ACA, Chairman ICAN Zonal Northern District.
