PHOTOS: Buhari visits Tinubu in London

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, visited Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in London.

Buhari had travelled to London for the Global Education Summit on Financing Global Partnership for Education (GPE 2021-2025), which was held on July 29.

Similarly, Buhari is scheduled for a medical appointment after the summit and is expected back in the country in the second week of August, according to a statement by presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina.

Also, Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos, has been out of the country for weeks.

His prolonged absence from the country led to unconfirmed reports alleging that Tinubu is sick and receiving medical treatment in London.

Solacebase reports that Bola Tinubu was seen in the pictures supporting himself with a walking stick.

Meanwhile The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has endorsed the idea of the All Progressives Congress (APC ) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, vying for the Nigerian Presidency in 2023.

The Olubadan expressed his support while receiving members of the Tinubu Vanguard, a support group for Tinubu’s Presidency project in Ibadan on Saturday.

A statement by Dr. Johnny Benjamin, The Director-General of Tinubu Vanguard, Dr. Johnny Benjamin, said this in a statement on Saturday.

Olubadan described Tinubu as a good man whose stewardship as president would consolidate on the progressive agenda of the APC and propel Nigeria to the path of economic prosperity and sustainable development.
