National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday arrived Kano State on a condolence visit.
The former Lagos State Governor, arrived Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) at about 6.00pm and was received by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and his cabinet members.
Solacebase reports that Tinubu and Ganduje later proceeded to late Sheik Ahmad Ibrahim Bamba’s home to condole his family.
He subsequently visited the late Alhaji Bashir Tofa’s house at Gandun Albasa, where he described Tofa as a complete gentleman and astute politician who accepted defeat to M.K.O. Abiola, in 1993.
According to Tinubu,“What Tofa did in 1993 was a rear gentleman understanding which clearly shows his humility, consideration and love for a peaceful Nigeria, and this should be emulated by the politicians,” he said.
