Lawmaker representing Nasarawa federal constituency at the National Assembly, Honorable Nasir Ali Ahmed has revealed that all arrangements have been concluded to hold a mega empowerment program that has never been done before in Kano state in ensuring a healthy and secured society in the state.
The House member who is also the Chairman, Public Procurement Committee, exclusively told SOLACEBASE that the arrangement to hold the mega empowerment was conceived under his ‘Nassarawa ba Jagaliay’ initiative created to provide livelihood opportunities to women and youth in the constituency through gainful engagement and empowerment.
“We will soon launch a mega empowerment program perhaps the first of its kind not only in Kano state but across the federation. We intend to drastically reduce the rate of redundancy and unproductiveness especially among women and youths, we will not preempt the programm now, but it will soon be launched in Kano,” he said.

He noted that, in all the eleven wards in his constituency he was able to do a lot of development projects that ranges from solar powered boreholes, solar street lights, and construction of brand new roads among other socio-economic development projects that has touched the lives of the good people of Nassarawa.
According to him, a recent arrangement to begin construction of Badawa road has been completed and work will soon commence at the site adding that roads like that of Kawo among others will also be done as he had already secured the go ahead to carry out the constituent projects to better the lives of the people.
