Saudi Arabia Donates Relief Materials To IDPs In Yobe

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has donated relief materials to the Internally Displaced Persons affected by insurgency in Yobe State.

The Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Mustapha Maihaja announced the donation while flagging-off the distribution of the materials at Kukareta village, Damaturu Local Government Area of the state.

Maihaja, represented by Mr. Kayode Fagbemi, Director of Relief and Rehabilitation said a total of 15,096 bags of 25kg of rice and beans respectively and 7,548 condiments were donated.

“The distribution will be done by NEMA and SEMA officials to 3,774 households who have been identified to benefit from the donation’’, he said.Offloading the materials from Saudi Arabia

King Salman Abdulaziz, represented by Nasser Al-Subaie said: “this donation, which will benefit over 840 Internally Displaced People in Northeast comes from the custodian of two holy mosques, King Salman Abdulaziz’’.
