Senator Shekarau vows to personally pursue Hanifa’s case, sympathizes with family.

The Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has vowed to personally pursue the case of alleged gruesome murder of a five year school girl Hanifa who was killed by her teacher, Abdulmalik Tanko.

In a message delivered to the family, Senator Shekarau said he will closely follow the case to ensure that Justice is served.

Solacebase had reported how Abdulmalik Tanko, abducted Hanifa Abubakar on December,4^th 2021 while returning from Islamiyya.

However, after demanding for a ransom of N6m from the family in which N100,000 was  raised for the abductor, he subsequently, killed the 5 year old girl with rat poison.

The police last Thursday announced the arrest of the culprits and exhumed the corpse of the deceased that was later reburied according to Islamic rites.

The former Governor reasoned that a heartless murder like this must not be swept under the carpet and vowed to follow it to its logical conclusion.

Senator Shekarau prayed to Almighty Allah to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
