Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Benjamin Uwajumogu, is dead.
Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District and former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha confirmed the death of Uwajumogu to reporters at the Senate on Wednesday.
The late Senator was said to have slumped in the toilet while taking his bath and rushed to a private hospital in Apo, Abuja where he was confirmed dead.

Benjamin Uwajumogu until his death was a member of the All Progressives Congress.
