About 18 persons were reported killed and several others injured following an attack by suspected gunmen on Dowayan village in Demsa Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
According to residents of the community, the suspected gunmen struck at about 8.00 pm, attacking the villagers. Several houses were burnt and properties destroyed.
