Legendary rapper, Tupac Shakur‘s murder suspect has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being discovered of committing a serious crime.
According to Concise, since Tupac tragically passed away, there have been many murder conspiracy theories as to how the rapper got killed. The renowned rapper was gunned down in Las Vegas in 1996.
A suspect throughout Tupac’s murder case was a South Side Compton Crips gang leader named Darnell Brim. Authorities believed the crips gang leader was one of four men who were riding in the white Cadillac that fired at Suge Knight’s car and killed Tupac.
Tupac’s murder has remained unsolved and investigators have tried severally to get to the root of the matter. They were not able to prove Brim’s involvement in the murder case though.
However, in a case separate to the murder of Tupac Shakur, reports have emerged that Brim has been sentenced to 10 years for a 2013 arrest for drug trafficking.
According to TMZ, agents for The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives discovered Brim was attempting to sell crack cocaine during a sting operation.
Brim has pleaded guilty to two felonies of conspiracy to distribute crack and distribution of crack. As a result of this, he has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
In Tupac’s murder case, he has never been charged for anything related to the killing of Tupac. Just two days after Tupac’s murder, Brim suffered injury as he got shot in a drive-by shooting in Compton.
Police reportedly believe that it was retaliation for Tupac’s death.
