Tinubu appoints new CEO for AMCON , names three executive directors
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Gbenga Alade as Chief Executive Officer of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
A statement signed by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced the appointments on Thursday

It said Alade succeeded Ahmed Kuru, who assumed office in August 2015.
The statement said Tinubu also appointed three other executive directors, pending their confirmation by the Senate.
They are Aminu Ismail, Adeshola Lamidi, and Lucky Adaghe.

It said the President expects “unflagging dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness from the new appointees so as to ensure that the operations of AMCON are more efficient, transparent, and in consonance with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system to maximize value and enhance investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.”
