PHOTOS: Tinubu, Obasanjo meet in Owerri at Uzodimma’s inauguration
President Bola Tinubu and ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo were seen together in public, for the first time since Asiwaju was sworn into office.
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma’s inauguration for a second tenure brought the duo who were among the guests who witnessed the occasion.
The last time both men were seen together publicly was in the buildup to the election when Tinubu visited Obasanjo’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, to seek his support.

The former president had chosen Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party, over Tinubu, who ran on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Subsequently when he visited Abeokuta – to campaign and on a thank-you trip after winning the election, Tinubu shunned Obasanjo’s residence.

But on Monday, both men exchanged pleasantries and shook hands. Below are pictures:
