FULL LIST: Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council appoints Inuwa Waya, deputy director

A former Kano State governorship aspirant, Inuwa Ibrahim Waya has been appointed Deputy Director, Special Duties, of the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council.

This was contained in a list dated October 19 and signed by Iyiola Omisore, national secretary of All Progressives Party and released on Wednesday.

SOLACEBASE reports that President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to unveil the party’s manifesto and inaugurate the campaign council on Friday.

The initial list released by James Faleke, a house of representatives member and secretary of the council, had elicited pushback within the ranks of the party.

The new list released by the party has over 600 names, including all the members of the national working committee (NWC), the federal executive council (FEC), the APC national assembly caucus and chairmen of the party in the states.

Inuwa Ibrahim Waya, a former top brass at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) and a lawyer was a gubernatorial aspirant of the APC in Kano

It was gathered that the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign office in Kano was donated by Inuwa Waya, who initially had it as his gubernatorial office.
