Owning a private jet in Nigeria is not only convenient, but also a symbol of wealth and richness, since many Nigerians, including politicians, entertainers, and preachers, have been known to buy private jets.

AMB reports that on average, the annual cost of keeping a private jet ranges between $500,000 and $1 million (approx. N290 million to N580 million), but people continue to pay this expensive amount.

A private jet should also go through general inspections including ‘C’ checks, software checks, fuel level, preflight, post-flight, and weekly inspections, among others. All of these are really crucial.

The types of private jets include very light jets, light jets, mid-size aircraft, super mid-size jets, heavy business jets, ultra-long range jets, and executive airliners.
