Update: Kano governorship tribunal ongoing judgement

The Kano Governorship election tribunal three-man panel is chaired by Justice Oluyemi Akintan-Osadebay and judgement is being delivered virtually.

The tribunal on Wednesday dismissed INEC’s Preliminary Objection challenging the petition on the grounds that Yusuf Gawuna, APC candidate, was not joined in the case.

For the second Preliminary Objection by INEC, the Tribunal ruled in favor of INEC that the issue of sponsorship and membership of Gov Yusuf is an internal affair of the party.

The tribunal is now deciding the Preliminary Objection on Gov Yusuf and will later determine that of NNPP.
