A veteran sports journalist, Mike Oboh is dead.

Mike Oboh, Secretary-General of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) died on Thursday in Abuja, a source told Solacebase.

The former Kano State SWAN Chairman according to reliable source died at a hospital, after a protracted illness.

The late Sports writer was a member of Kano Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists.

Until his death, he was a member of Correspondents Chapel and SWAN of FCT .
