Restoring the lost glory of Kano as commercial hub is our priority, said Kano PDP Governorship Candidate, Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, the PDP Gubernatorial flag bearer for Kano 2019 general election said this when he received the leadership of Arewa Youth Traders Association of Nigeria who paid him a solidarity visit.
” We will fomulate and implement policies that will regulate the proliferation of foreigners into our local markets, while promoting foreign direct investments in the state”
Engr Abba Yusuf reiterated his commitment to promote business and economic development in the state by ensuring that local markets are protected and linkages created with counterparts at national and international levels
We will facilitate access to special grants for businessmen and women at federal agencies such as the Bank of Industry, Bank of Agriculture, NIRSAL and other bilateral/ multilateral agencies.
The Governorship candidate informed his guest that his administration will revisit the Kantin Kwari project to make sure that justice is done to all stakeholders of the market.
In a statement signed by his Spokesperson Mr. Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, said the chairman of Arewa Youth Traders Association Alh. Abubakar Kabir C&H informed the gubernatorial candidate of their resolve to support his election campaign for a greater Kano.
