We’ll rig again in 2023, nothing will happen- Kano APC Chair

Kano State interim chairman of the Kano State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji  Abdullahi Abbas, hit back at former governor of the state, Rabiu Kwankwaso, over his comments on the rigging of the governorship election in the state in 2019.

Recalls that last week Rabiu Kwankwaso while addressing members of his party, PDP  said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would not in any form tolerate inconclusive election again rather it would be a do or die in 2023.

He alleged that the APC in 2019 was behind election rigging and created an inconclusive election scenario despite PDP candidate leading with over twenty- six thousand votes.

But responding, the Kano APC interim Chairman boasted that the party would rig the 2023 governorship election as it happened in Gama ward, Nasarawa local government area of the state and nothing would happen.

Abdullahi Abbas, while addressing the party members during the swearing-in of the caretaker members of the APC on Tuesday at state Government House, also criticised  Kwankwaso on his comments over alleged selling of public properties by the Ganduje led administration.

‘’Kwankwaso did worst than this, even the PDP house in the GRA used to be government property,’’ Abdullahi Abass alleged.

Solacebase reports that on November  Kwankwaso also criticised Ganduje over the alleged sale of Daula Hotel and plans to sell Kano Zoological Garden in the state.

Abdullahi Abbas also told APC supporters that they should be happy because Ganduje administration is selling lands while Kwankwaso administration sold buildings.
