Youth Council honours Muhammad Muhammad with icon of year 2023 award

The Sir Ahmadu Bello Youth Council of Nigeria has bestowed the Sardauna awards upon Kano philanthropist Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad Dawakin Kudu, recognizing him as an icon of the year 2023.

According to the council, the honor is in tribute to his distinguished contribution to the well-being of indigent Kano citizens.

SOLACEBASE reports that Muhammad was presented with the awards at an occasion held at Mumbayya House Kano.

In the citation, the organization’s leader, Bilal Tijjani Paki, stated that Mr. Muhammad, a discreet achiever, was deserving of this accolade for his inspiring leadership roles as a youth leader and mentor.

He emphasized the necessity of honoring him for his contributions to society, particularly his support for those unable to afford their school fees.

Furthermore, he highlighted Mr. Muhammad’s assistance to underprivileged students with tuition fees, provision of free medical services, and empowerment of youth and women, among various other commendable endeavors.

In a remark, the honoree, expressed gratitude to the organizers for deeming him worthy of the award.

He pledged to redouble his efforts in contributing towards the development of the lives of the less privileged people in the state, particularly those from Dawakin Kudu.

He urged affluent individuals in the state to emulate the benevolent actions he has undertaken.
