Kungiyar Matasan Kano (KMK), a youth advocacy group has called on Nigerian politicians to stop manipulating young people to engage in thuggery during and after any elections in the country.

The National President of the Organization Comrade Alhassan Haruna Dambatta made the call on Sunday in Kano while inaugurating new executives to chair the Forum in  44 Local government areas, in the state as well as the inauguration of the new national secretariat.

Comrade Dambatta said youths should ask politicians looking for thugs to use their children to discharge any assignment they wanted thugs to discharge.

“This is the time for youths to be wise and realise that the same politicians looking for thugs send their own children overseas and to the best schools while using other peoples’ children as thugs, he added.

“Youths should realise that life is lived only once and should not be wasted for people who only care for their interests and those of their families,’’ he said.
