APC Congress : National Headquarters accepts only our elected leaders- Gov. Ganduje
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state says that, the National Headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) has accepted the emergence of Abdullahi Abbas as the only State Chairman of the party.
Solacebase reports that the APC parallel congress held in Kano on Saturday produced Abdullahi Abbas from the Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje led side and Ahmadu Haruna Danzago, from Senator Ibrahim Shekarau led group.
A statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar on Wednesday and sent to Solacebase said prior to the commencement of the State Executive Council meeting, today, Wednesday, Ganduje noted that “Party headquarters has recognized our election of Abdullahi Abbas as the State Chairman of our party.

‘’It also recognizes all leaders elected during the state congress, when Abdullahi Abbas emerged victorious,’’ said the statement.
‘’Adding that, “However there are moves to reconcile with all few others who followed other way. Politics is all about this kind of development, anyway.”
