APC expels Danbilki Kwamanda in Kano over misconduct

The All Progressive Congress APC, Kano Municipal Local Government chapter has expelled Alhaji Abdulmajid Danbilki Kwamanda from the Party for allegedly disparaging President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The Party Local Government Chairman Alhaji Sani Abubakar Maifata and his Secretary Kamilu Saidu Bala in a statement jointly signed on Monday said they received expulsion letter of Danbiliki Kwamanda from his Zaitawa Ward and after investigating the allegations levelled against him, they are also convinced and upheld the Party’s decision against him.

It added that the letter of suspension from Zaitawa Ward dated May 30, 2021, and with reference number APC/ZAI/KMC/20/001 was received from his Ward level with all  the allegation against Danbiliki Kwamanda

They noted in the statement, that Kwamanda has allegedly been name dropping President Muhammadu Buhari in the Kano APC and committing atrocities of various degrees with mischiefs.

The statement also noted that Abdulmajid Danbilki Kwamanda has been removed from the elders’ Committee of the APC in Municipal and also sacked from the Party.

However, Solacebase reports that shortly after his expulsion from the party, Abdulmajid Danbilki Kwamanda, says he has created a new faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Speaking at a media briefing on Tuesday, Kwamanda said a meeting on the decision to create the faction in the state referred to as ‘APC Akida’ — commenced on May 31.

“We are creating APC Akida, even President Muhammadu Buhari cannot stop us from splitting the party for now.”
