BREAKING: Court orders reinstatement of Muhuyi Magaji as Kano anti-corruption agency chairman
The National Industrial Court sitting in Kano has ordered the state government to reinstate sacked Chairman, of the state Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado with immediate effect.
SOLACEBASE reports that the court on Tuesday presided by Justice Ebeye David Eseimo ruled that the removal of the anti-corruption Chairman, Muhuyi Rimingado from office was illegal , null and void.
It could be recalled that Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado dragged Kano State Government(under the administration headed by former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje), Kano State House of Assembly and Attorney General of the State to court challenging his removal from office.

The court accepted and answered the three prayers of the claimant against the defendants.
It ruled that the second defendant has no right to recommend the dismissal of the claimant without first hearing from the claimant by according him the opportunity to defend himself.
SOLACEBASE had reported that Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado was suspended as Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaint and Anti-Corruption Commission by the State House of Assembly, on July 5th, 2021.
The House said the suspension was due to a petition written against him by the Accountant General of the state for refusing to accept an accountant posted to his office.
Though the anticorruption boss said the posting was contrary to the law establishing the commission
It was later gathered that the state anti-graft commission chairman ran into stormy water when he beamed a searchlight on the suspected fraud been committed by the governors family that include the construction work at the cancer centre and management of streetlights in the state among others.
Many believed that the former state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje used the state assembly to carry out the suspension of Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado.
He was subsequently sacked on January 24, 2023 with a letter signed by the Secretary to the Kano State Government, Alhaji Usman Alhaji.
