Nigeria has recorded 229 new cases of COVID-19, this according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
The health agency announced this in a tweet on Monday.
It said the country has conducted 45, 683 sample test and so far total confirmed infection of the disease is now 8068.
However, Lagos is still leading in the daily update with fresh infection of 90, Katsina 27, Imo 26, Kano 23, FCT 14 and Plateau 12 with other 9 states in single digit.
